As keynote speaker, Jackson's Mayor Mark Barron will address their environmental initiatives including the lighting program, U.S. Mayor's Agreement, 10x10 Initiative, and 100% renewable energy and the energy audit.  SWCS is partnering with the Wyoming Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils.

Invasive Species Control Summit

May 6-8, 2008
 Gering Civic Center, 1050 M Street
Gering, NE

The Invasive Species Control Summit promises to provide a unique variety of speakers and and topics on invasive species control within highly impacted watersheds.  The summit is a joint effort of organizations from Nebraska and Wyoming, federal and state agencies, and landowners.  A total control effort involving entire watersheds will prove to be the only sustainable, cost-effective approach to successful control of invasive species.
