Committees

As you can see there are plenty of opportunities to get involved by volunteering to be on a committee.

Annual Meeting Program Committee

	To plan a meeting for business, technical, and informational exchange of ideas between members
	To stimulate interest and participation in chapter activities
	To further the goals and objectives of the chapter

Awards Committee

	To recognize individuals, groups, organizations and businesses for outstanding service and contribution to conservation of natural resources
	Solicit nominations in all chapter award categories
	To publicize the accomplishments of award recipients

History and Archives Committee

	To serve as custodian of chapter archived records and to assemble and file chapter records received for archived storage
	To advance the collection of chapter history
	To maintain archived inventories and guides Assemble the Tom Doughty Documentary

Membership Committee

	To retain present Wyoming Chapter and Society members
	To implement promotional activities and publicity for the purpose of recruiting new members
	Promote all categories of members offered by the Society and communicate the benefits of the chapter and Society membership

Newsletter Committee

	To prepare and regularly publish the chapter newsletter
	To keep the membership informed of activities and events
	To advance chapter communications

Nominations & Elections Committee

	To carry out annual nomination and election activities of the chapter
	To solicit candidates for expiring office terms
	To follow nomination and election procedures as established in the chapter by-laws

Scholarship Committee

	To assist and encourage qualified students to pursue a career in natural resource conservation through an organized program of study at an accredited college, university, or vocational school in Wyoming
	To solicit qualified applicants for the chapter and Society scholarship program
	To help develop the chapter scholarship program
